Cardiac Surgery Faculty Position

The Division of Cardiac Surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital is seeking a full-time academic board certified/board eligible or foreign equivalent cardiac surgeon.


We are looking for a surgeon with 1-3 years of experience; although, new fellowship graduates are also encouraged to apply. Surgeon should have interest and advanced training in aortic surgery, heart failure surgery including transplantation, and organ procurement.  Surgeon should have additional education in research, public health, or business administration.  This surgeon will join other colleagues in the Cardiac Surgery division and be an active member of the team and contribute to the education of residents, medical students, and fellows. The MD or MD/PhD candidate must demonstrate professional, academic, and teaching skills in the field of adult cardiac surgery.


The candidate should also be qualified to be appointed at the Instructor or Assistant Professor level at Harvard Medical School. Salary and academic appointment will be commensurate with training and level of experience.
